Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing client relationships, teaming up with Marketing and Operations to develop a winning go-to-market strategy, all while ensuring the team's success through effective leadership and coaching.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Develop Sales Strategies:

  • Create and implement sales strategies to meet team and company objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture them.

2. Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor Technology Advisors.
  • Set performance targets and monitor the team's progress.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Address client issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

4. Sales Operations:

  • Oversee TA's sales operations, including CRM management and sales forecasting.
  • Ensure sales processes are efficient and effective.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports for senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

6. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and service teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in the technology consulting industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
